Subs supports a range of payment methods to make subscribing to your favourite creators as easy as possible.
Accepted payment methods
- Visa (credit and debit)
- Mastercard (credit and debit)
- American Express
- Discover
- Apple Pay (on supported devices)
- Google Pay (on supported devices)
ℹ️ Note: Payment method availability may vary depending on your country or region. If your preferred payment method is not available, please contact support.
Adding a payment method
- Click your profile icon (top right)
- Select Settings
- Go to Billing & Payments
- Click Add Payment Method and follow the prompts
ℹ️ Note: Your payment details are encrypted and stored securely. Subs never stores your full card number.
Payment failures
If a payment fails, your subscription may be paused. Common reasons include:
- Insufficient funds
- Expired card
- Card blocked for online or international transactions
- Incorrect billing details
If your payment fails, you will receive an email notification. You can update your payment method in Settings > Billing & Payments and retry.
Currency
All transactions on Subs are processed in USD by default. Depending on your bank, you may be charged a foreign currency conversion fee if your account is in a different currency. Please check with your bank for details.
VAT and tax
Depending on your location, VAT or other local taxes may apply to your purchases. For more information, see our VAT & Tax Policy in the Terms of Service.
