Welcome to Subs! Now that your account is verified, it's time to set up your profile so you can start attracting subscribers. Your profile image, name, bio, and first pieces of content make a critical first impression — getting these right from the start will make a real difference to your growth.
Profile image and banner
Your profile image is the first thing potential subscribers see. Choose a photo that reflects your personal brand and gives people a clear sense of what to expect from your content. Your banner image gives you more space to be creative — use it to showcase your style or hint at the kind of content you create.
Your profile image and banner must comply with Subs' content guidelines. Make sure to review what content is and isn't permitted before uploading.
Your public name and bio
Your Public Name is visible to everyone on the platform, so choose something memorable that represents your brand. Your bio is your chance to tell potential subscribers who you are and what they will get from subscribing — keep it short, clear, and compelling.
Linking your social media
You can add your social media accounts under Settings → Account Details → Social Media. Linking your socials helps fans find and verify your profile, and is one of the most effective ways to drive subscribers from your existing following.
Setting your subscription price
You have full control over your subscription pricing on Subs. Think about your target audience and the value of the content you are offering. You can update your subscription price at any time from your profile settings.
Uploading your first content
Before promoting your Subs profile anywhere, make sure you have content ready for subscribers to discover. We recommend uploading a mix of at least 10 posts before you start sharing your profile link. Having a mix of content types gives new visitors a reason to subscribe straight away.
To upload content, tap the Create button in the navigation bar and choose your content type:
- Public — visible to everyone and eligible to appear on Explore
- Followers and subscribers — for users who follow or subscribe
- Subscribers only — exclusive content for paying members
- Pay-per-view (PPV) — premium content available for a one-time purchase
Getting discovered on Explore
Only Public content appears on the Explore page, where new audiences can find your profile. Posting regular Public content gives you the best chance of being discovered by people who have not subscribed yet.
